Desserts and love stories at Hatley Castle - Feb 13

....Sweets with sweets war not," says the Bard.  "Joy delights in joy..."  Why is it that some foods, like strawberries and chocolates, are such perfect companions for romance?

Perhaps because there's a sweetness in them, surprising and delicious, that wakes up the senses and invites us to surrender in the very way we do when we fall in love.  It's risky, but it's always worth it!  We all have that sweet spot in us, ready to be touched by the memory and possibility of tenderness. 

Join storytellers for an evening of love stories at the Hatley Castle drawing room at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, while we invite you to sample some richly sweet desserts - all in the name of love!   Adults $25 + GST; students/seniors $20 + GST.
