Counselling Services

Life can be complicated. This is especially true when you are trying to juggle your life and your learning. We recognize that from time to time personal issues may arise that may have a profound effect on your life.  To support you during difficult times, RRU offers a voluntary, free personal counselling service to provide confidential information and referrals, brief counselling and support or guidance.

Who are our counsellors?
To support a conselling model that reaches all our students throughout Canada and around world, Royal Roads currently has a contract with PPC Canada for the delivery of counselling services.  PPC counsellors and advisors are fully qualified professionals (registered psychologists, clinical counsellors and/or social workers, as well as addictions specialists) with several years of experience. They are recruited for their specialist expertise in occupational healthcare, psychology and counselling, social work, finance, and law. Our counsellors receive regular supervision/consultation, and ongoing professional development, so you can be sure you are getting the very best help and advice.
