Executive coaching grads have a tradition of winning

Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching graduates once again stepped up to the podium at the sixth annual Prism Awards held May 5 by the Vancouver chapter of the International Coach Federation at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
All of the nominating coaches at this year’s awards - Troy King (Freybe Gourmet Foods), Dave Busse, Wendy Harvey, Lynn Best, Marty Playford, Natasha Mantler (Surrey Food Bank), and Stephanie Hardman (Richmond School Board) - are CEC grads.
The tradition of winning dates back to 2005 at the second Prism Awards when Kathy Taberner, CEC and Associate Faculty Carollyne Conlinn’s client nominated the winning UBC Coaching Program led by Erna Hagge, CEC.
In 2008, Next Level Games won with nominating coach Julie Jones, CEC.
In 2009, Teresa Belier and Dori Van Dolk were in the CEC program when their employer BC Women and Children's Hospital won the award with nominating coaches Erna Hagge and Kathy Taberner. That same year, Kootenay Savings Credit Union also won with Sue Bock, CEC nominating coach and online faculty member.
And the tradition continues.
The inaugural 2010 Prism Award ceremony, sponsored by the Okanagan Chapter of the International Coach Federation which took place in Kelowna honoured Interior Health with nominating coach Anita Bakker, CEC, and Bruce Swan, CEC also participating.
Congratulations everyone.
